Good morning guys,
What a morning! Rain and water clogged streets welcomed my first step out of my house. Sorry can't give you a glimpse of it, because it was pouring heavily and I was scared that my precious Lumia phone would destroy if I take out from my pocket due to the rains. Anyways, I can give a snap shot of my office which has submerged under the water and I had to climb some walls to enter my office. Yeah, I'm very sporty when it comes down to these things, I can climbs trees, walls, houses, and anything!
Yeah so you can imagine the gravity of the situation in my city- Kolkata, which is famous for it's rains, since the whole city goes under the waters, and it feels like a fanatsy novel- a city under water, we are all like mermaids, there are some evil creatures lurking in the water, and there are some angle and hero like craetures protecting us from the evil, now I'm making up a story.
Okay so let's get back to the Friday meme now.
It's time to have a new feature and follow blog post, which is a weekly meme hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee's View.
What is Feature and Follow Friday?
In simple words- to gain more followers either via GFC or Bloglovin'. So the very idea of having this feature and follow meme is to collect more new bloggers on the block and to make new blogger friends as well as followers. It is a great idea which was started out by Alison and Rachel. Three Cheers for those two masterminds!
So How does it Works?
- Follow the hosts of FF {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
- Follow the Featured Bloggers on their blogs
- Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
- Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
- If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn't have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
- Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
- If someone comments and says they are following you, please return the courtesy by following them back. Spread the Love...and the followers
This Week's Question:
You can only eat one cuisine type for the rest of your life. Which would you choose? (E.g. Italian, French, Greek, Mexican, Chinese, Indian etc…) - Suggested by Journey Through Fiction
Well, I'm a big fat fan of Chinese food, from dumplings to noodles to traditional soups to everything Chinese, I mean I love the flavor- that exotic and oriental taste- not too hot not too sweet or sour, that tingly feel on my tongue simply makes my heart crave for more Chinese even after eating Chinese food.
I'm an Indian and there are lots of sub types of Indian cuisines- Keralaian, Goan, South India, North India, Bengali etc.. the list goes on actually, each and every city and town of India has it's own secrets and it's own flavors that is distinct and unique from the others, I believe it might take you more than 5 lifetimes to taste so many various types of Indian cuisines. My sub type is I'm a Bengali- who loves to gorge on bhaat (white rice), maacher jhol (fish curry), aloo bhaja, (Potato chips shredded! ), daal (pulses curry, yellow in color), misti doi (sweet curd), rosogolla (famous Bengali sweets- round in nature, white in color, way too sweet). So now you will know one fact, every Bengali have a sweet teeth! Anyways, I'm not a big fan of Bengali cuisine and but I'm a die-hard lover of Chinese food, there are lots of Chinese eatery in our city, there is a China Town in Tangra, where you'll assured to get authentic Chinese delicacies brought straight from China.
Here are few snaps from my latest Chinese dinner night. I went to Chowman, a cool and really awesome Chinese restaurant near my house, where I had Chicken in Chilly Wine and Chicken Schezwan Noddles. It was heavenly!
Do share how you're spending your summer day and what you love to eat the most in the comments below.
This is a Blog Hop!

Nice! Never really ate too much Chinese food. Didn't care for it when I did have it. But I do tend to like General Tso's chicken, though never been clear on if that's actually Chinese food or not!

I have to admit I haven't eaten a lot of indian food myself. I've only been to one restaurant, and it wasn't a good restaurant. So I don't think I've actually had really good indian food before. I want to find a good one and try it again. I love chinese food too!
