Annabel Smith, an English writer, has penned a terrific novel, Whiskey and Charlie , that traces the life story of two identical twin brothers who were initially close and were thick as thieves, but gradually as they grew up, their strong bond of brotherhood tore apart until the day came when they couldn't stand each other. Initially published as Whisky, Charlie, Foxtrot in Australia, the book has gone into re-print with a new title but with the same charm.

This book is inspired from real-life incidents, so behold your minds into being dismissive about it. The book is centered around three myths- the Tooth Fairy with Blood Red Wings, the Witch of Hill Top Road and the Ghost of Normandy Road.

I certainly believe in the inspiring words of Margaret A. Edwards, whose candor reflection about Young Adult genre's benefits is very clear. Now I'm not a teenager then why should I involve myself in reading the most-loved genre books. I'm a grown-up, or rather say an adult who can take her own decisions and moreover, have a mind of her own, then why do I need to read YA?

Now there's a great debate that whether or not an adult should YA literature. So, I, being a 23-year old working woman, like to jot down the reasons of why I should never be ashamed of reading YA and mostly, why I love reading them.

PS: Apart from two teenagers suffering from terminal illness and falling in love with each other, there is nothing similar to TFIOS in this book. So don't judge the book according to TFIOS.
