Review #433: The Crown (The Selection, #5) by Kiera Cass

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

“Perhaps I cannot make my people good, she told herself, but I should at least try to make them a little less bad.”

----George R.R. Martin

Kiera Cass, the best-selling author of The Selection series, pens her (possibly and I badly hope so!) the final and fifth book in this enchanting dystopian series. The Crown traces the journey of America's daughter, Eadlyn, stepping up to be the queen followed by America's illness. And as The Selection has been eliminated from their kingdom, Eadlyn still somehow has to choose a suitor for her marriage.

“There’s always room for love. Even if it’s as small as a crack in the door.”

----Kiera Cass

Kiera Cass, the New York Times bestselling author, has penned a heart-breaking tale of love in the huge vast blue ocean, in her book, The Sirens that narrates the story of a young siren who lives in the depths of the ocean and has a beautiful voice but longs to have a life of her own instead of serving the ocean, unfortunately against the rules of the ocean. But when she falls for a human, things become so difficult for her to survive her solitude anymore.

Review #250: The Elite(The Selection #2) by Kiera Cass

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“America, there’s no question that you’ve had my heart from the beginning. By now you have to know that.”

----Kiera Cass

Kiera Cass, an American author, whose The Selection series has taken the whole YA-lit world by storm, no that's very true, so I, feeling bit left out from all the hype about this book, went ahead and bought out all the four books(literally!) from this exciting dystopian series from Amazon India. Let's face it, it's not that brilliant as it claims to be. Yet still, somehow, the book has imprinted it's charm and glory into my heart. Maybe those impeccably gorgeous gowns and dresses did the trick!
